Potomac Conference Team:
After prayerful consideration, Jerrod and Jennifer Gabel, directors of Camp Blue Ridge (Montebello, Va.) have decided to return to Washington State to work on his family’s long-standing farm. The farm has encountered significant challenges over the years and they feel a strong calling to return and support the family in this time of need. Their last day with the Potomac Conference will be Feb. 29.
The Gabels have expressed what a difficult decision this has been, as Camp Blue Ridge has become their home and camp ministry has always been their passion. They are working with administration to develop a plan for camp operation for the upcoming months.
The Potomac Conference team has been blessed by the Gabels’ passion and commitment to camp ministry and we wish them the best as they make this transition.
