The Ascend to Wholeness Healthcare Plans are designed to empower you to achieve your personal goals of complete, whole-person health through the mind, body and spirit. This is accomplished through robust benefits provided by the plan that are designed to assist and educate you on your current health, as well as provide a strong foundation for life-long changes to achieve a “wholistic” lifestyle. Improving your health can have positive side effects such as improved self-confidence, greater feelings of happiness and the potential to save you money.
Ascend to Wholeness offers two health plan options. Both plans, Accelerate and Access, provide integrated wellness and care-coordination benefits. The plans encourages your engagement in wellness activities. Ascend to Wholeness provides access to biometric screenings, wellness assessments, personalized health coaching, a wellness portal and various educational tools.

Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance
Active full-time employees, their spouses and dependents are eligible for basic and supplemental life insurance as defined in the North American Division Working Policy. It is covered by the employer and carried by VOYA. This guide you help you to learn more about this benefit.
- EMPLOYER PAID – Basic Life Insurance: Employee is covered for $ 100,000, spouse is covered for $ 50,000 and each child is covered for $ 10,000. This benefit also covers funeral costs.
. - EMPLOYEE PAID – Supplemental Life Insurance: As an employee you can enroll on supplemental insurance for yourself, spouse and children up to $ 250,000. If you want to have a higher coverage you need to fill the EOI – Evidence of Insurability and send it to VOYA.
Employee Assistance Program

Potomac employees have access to ComPsych® GuidanceResources®, which provides support, resources and information for personal and work-life issues. Flex Spending Account
Medical Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can help reimburse you for eligible expenses you or your eligible dependents incur that are not paid by your existing healthcare plan and allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for:

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Employer provides a basic AD&D Insurance carried by VOYA to all of our employees according to their role. You can also choose to supplement it. As a full-time new hire employee, you are automatically enrolled in the Adventist Retirement Plan starting with your first paycheck, at which time Empower Retirement, the plan’s record keeper, will create an account for you. This means that 3% will be taken from your eligible compensation each pay period and contributed to the plan as a salary reduction contribution. You can choose to contribute more, less, or even nothing at any time by signing into your plan’s account on the Empower Retirement website and electing a different contribution percentage (including a 0% contribution). As a full-time employee, Potomac Conference Corporation will contribute 5% into your plan and also make a dollar-for-dollar matching contribution on amounts you contribute (up to 3%) of your eligible compensation.

Wellness Program
The Potomac Conference Employee Wellness Program is intended to promote optimized health and well-being, resulting in a healthy, happy, productive workforce. It has been designed to complement the Healthy for Life Rewards program that is offered to all employees enrolled in the NAD Health Care Assistance Plan (HCAP).
The benefits offered include:
- $15.00 per month for each month in which the employee exercises 30 minutes per day
for a minimum of 10 days within that month.
. - This benefit is only allotted once per month. If the employee exercises more than
10 days within the same month, there is no additional monetary benefit for the
additional workouts.
How to Self-Report of Monthly Activities: In order to receive your benefit in a timely manner, eligible employees need to submit their activity log by the 15th of the following month. Example: Activity for January should be submitted by February 15th in order to receive the $15.00 benefit on your February paycheck. In order to be considered for reimbursement, Activity Logs must be submitted within three (3) months of the month in which the activity occurred.
Example: Activity for January must be submitted by April 15th at the latest.

Fitness Equipment Reimbursement
Eligible employees can be reimbursement for 20% of a fitness equipment purchase price up, to a maximum of $100.00 per year. Items reimbursed must be related to any type of personal fitness or workout equipment. Example: Athletic Shoes, Treadmill, Elliptical Machines, Circuit Weight Training Machines, workout Clothes, etc.

Auto Insurance
Full-time employees eligible for additional automobile insurance assistance are employees whose category maximum is 100 percent or more of the Remuneration Factor, excluding educational personnel K-16. Please refer to policy. Check our policy to learn more about it.
Tuition Assistance
Full-time employees in administrative, professional and supervisory positions may receive tuition assistance for dependent children or for themselves. Learn more about how to benefit from it by reading our policy.
