The Potomac Conference is mourning the sudden loss of Suzanne Miller, 5th teacher at Sligo Adventist School in Takoma Park, Md. Her life ended on September 28 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
“Suzanne had been teaching at Sligo School for just two months, but in that time she brought much fun, laughter, positivity and warmth to the school,” said Don McFarlane, a pastor at the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church, who joined several pastors in providing counseling at the school this week.
“God brought together a wonderful group of people to care for our children at Sligo School,” McFarlane said. “He has allowed one to be taken from us, but the candle of her life will never go out in the lives of the children she served and in the hearts of her colleagues.”
Please pray for the Miller family and Sligo students and staff.
