What Job to You Hope to Have and How Will You Share Jesus?

We asked students at C.F. Richards Junior Academy in Staunton, VA. and a Sligo Adventist School in Takoma Park, Md. this question: What job do hope to have some day, and how will you use that job to share Jesus with others? See what they had to say!

Alexis Angel

Alexis Angel- Grade 1

When I grow up I will be a chef. I get to cook for others and make delicious meals. This will make others happy as they eat my food and that is how I plan to show the love of Jesus.

Ada WightmanAda Wightman –  Grade 2

I’d like to be a vet, so I can tell people about Jesus and try to be helpful.

Hayden LoukHayden Louk –  Grade 2

I’d like to be in the US Army and fight for America. I would tell people about Jesus wherever we went.

Cailey Morris

Cailey Morris – Grade 3

I have a lot, I want to be an artist, reader, gardner and work in a restaurant. I heard a story once about how we are a flower and if we are disconnected from God, then we are disconnected from our roots and we wilt. I would stay connected to God and keep sharing with and telling people about God.

Seth JednaszewskiSeth Jednaszewski- Grade 3

A gymnastics coach is what I plan to be when I grow up. I like gymnastics and I have had great coaches help me to be better. I plan to help children learn gymnastics even if they are scared. Jesus will be seen when I work with them, and use kind words and not shout. I will help each person to be their best when it seems hard.

Erica Lopez Montano

Erica Lopez-Montano – Grade 3

I would like to be a vet, so I can help people with their animals, so they can see how beautiful nature can be.

Runako WalshRunako Walsh – Grade 3

I would like to be a builder and I would bring my bible with me and would tell people about Jesus on my break time and read the Bible to them.

Allie AcordAllie Acord-  Grade 4

I’d like to be physical therapist. I could tell people, while we were walking or something like that, and tell them to have faith and that God is with them. I could encourage them to not give up and keep exercising so they can stay healthy.

Colten HartmanColton Hartman – Grade 4

I would like to be a paramedic and I would pray with people.

Leona Morgan

Leona Morgan- Grade 5

I hope to be a Lawyer when I grow up. I like making my point and a good peaceful argument. So, being a lawyer is something I think I would like to do and be good at. As a lawyer I am also a Christian. I get to share the love of Christ by treating each client fairly, it does not matter who they are in their situation. Jesus stood against sin and I will fight for the rights of others.

AvAvery Curcioery Curcio – Grade 5

I would like to be a construction worker and I could tell them things like, “keep up the good work,” to encourage them.

HHannah Peloteannah Pelote – Grade 7

One of my career aspirations is to be a veterinarian. I like animals and would like to use the training I will gain going to college to help animals. These animals are part of God’s creation and as a Christian it is my duty to help the creation and not hurt it. Also, I get to show the love of Jesus by easing the hurt that pet owners may feel when their pet is ill. They will see be showing care to their pets and being compassionate to them as individuals. God attended to the need of others which helped in pointing them to heaven.

Jordan KleinJordan Klein – Grade 7:

I want to be a nurse and I want to not just heal people physically, but mentally and spiritually.

Kha'Rya hartKha’Raya Hart – Grade 8

I would like to be a doctor and spread the word of God with people and heal them when they’re sick.

Rebecca CastroRebecca Castro- Grade 8

One of the careers that interest me is becoming and Crime Scene Investigator (CSI). Being able to work with law enforcement to solve crimes and other incidents is exciting. I like to get answers. While it’s not always and exciting job, this is something I would like to do. How do I share Jesus as a CSI? Well, the truth is what Jesus was about and I get to show what happened the truth about crime, which is similar to sin. Every job is important and the people I work with will see that I love my job and love people
