President Bill Miller
William ‘Bill’ Miller was elected President of the Potomac Conference in 2006. Prior to coming to the Potomac Conference he served as President of the Minnesota Conference. He has been an associate, youth and senior pastor in California and Washington. He has served as a VP for Administration in the Washington Conference, Youth Director of the Northern California Conference, and Youth, Sabbath School, Community Services, and Temperance in the Hawaii Conference. He holds a BA degree in Theology from Pacific Union College, a Masters of Divinity (1985) and Doctor of Ministry degree (2014) in Leadership from Andrews University in 2014. Bill was born in McMinnville, Oregon. At the age of 4, his father was killed in the Columbus Day Hurricane of 1962. They moved to Angwin, California to be close to relatives and to be able to attend Adventist Christian Education.
In college, Bill sensed being called to the gospel ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is desirous that all have the privilege of hearing, understanding and accepting the beautiful message that God has given His last day remnant movement in anticipation of Christ’s soon return. Because of God’s grace and love, each person has the honor of being a child of the King.

Jorge Ramirez, Vice President of Administration
Jorge Ramírez began his pastoral ministry in 1985 in the Southeastern California Conference. He served this Conference 22 years, before accepting the invitation of the Potomac Conference in 2007 to serve as Vice President for Administration.
He holds a BA degree in pastoral ministry from Loma Linda University and a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University. In May of 2014 he completed his Doctor of Ministry from Andrews University in the area of church growth and evangelism. Jorge enjoys jogging, traveling, and playing guitar. His greatest passion is serving a God who has the power to restore any broken relationship. He considers this the greatest miracle in life.
Dave VandeVere, Vice President for Finance
Dave has an extensive background in pastoral administration and a heart for ministry. Prior to joining the Potomac Conference, David held the positions of assistant treasurer and treasurer within the Minnesota Conference. He also served as senior pastor at Potomac’s Damascus Grace Fellowship Church for ten years.
As a graduate of Southern College of Seventh-day Adventists, David received his B.B.A. in accounting in 1987 and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1989. He started his career at a major accounting firm in the Carolinas, serving as a public accountant from 1987 – 1992.
