This office exists to support the mission and vision of this Conference and to provide administrative support in the following areas: Conference Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation, statistical data, minutes, credentials/licenses, organization of churches, service travel requests, continuing education, advanced degrees, sabbatical requests, child protection program, staff development for human resources and information systems, and any other responsibilities assigned by the office of the president. In addition, this office also provides support for the following non-conference based ministries: Prison Ministries, Adventist Community Services, Disaster Response, Special Needs Ministry, and Religious Liberty.
Vice President for Administration
Jorge Ramírez began his pastoral ministry in 1985 in the Southeastern California Conference. He served there as a pastor for 22 years, before accepting the invitation of the Potomac Conference in 2007 to be the Vice President for Administration.
He holds a BA degree in pastoral ministry from Loma Linda University and a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University. In May of 2014 he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University in the area of Leadership and Church Growth.
Jorge is married to Bexy Castellón who works as a Respiratory Therapist at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia. God has blessed them with three young men: Reuben, Ryan, and Reiss. He and Bexy reside in New Market, Virginia.
Jorge enjoys jogging, traveling, and playing guitar. His greatest passion is serving a God who has the power to restore any broken relationship. He considers this the greatest miracle in life.
Administrative Assistant
Denise Hevener joined the Potomac Conference in August, 2005. She worked part-time assisting in Administration and Treasury. In July, 2007 she joined the team full-time as Administrative Assistant to the vice president for administration. She and her husband Dickie live in Buena Vista, VA. They have two children: Tiffany and Richie.

Conference Clerk
Claudya Barrientos joined Potomac as Conference Clerk, in charge of Membership and Statistics, in March of 2013. She graduated from Washington Adventist University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, emphasis in International Business, and completed her Master of Business Administration in 2011. She is currently finishing a Youth and Young Adult Master’s Degree from Andrews University.
Claudya is married to Pastor Josant Barrientos, who is presently the Director of Youth Ministries in Potomac. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and her many talents and gifts is a blessing to this Conference.
