Vice President for Education, Larry
D. Marsh is responsible
for the overall education program for the 23 Potomac
Conference schools. He oversees the 9-12
program at Shenandoah Valley Academy, the conference's
only boarding academy, and Takoma Academy.
His over three decades of educational experience
varies from first-grade physical education teacher,
seventh and eighth-grade home room teacher, deaning
as well as twenty years in administration.

Rob
Smith , Associate
Superintendent, represents Potomac K-12 education
in northern Virginia and the Greater Washington,
D. C. district of Potomac schools.
Adding to Rob's years of teaching and administration,
Rob has also served as a student missionary, legislative
intern, and has earned the distinction of being
a National Board Certified Teacher.

Superintendent Evelyn
Sullivan represents
Potomac K-12 education in the central and southern
Virginia district. Evelyn's wealth of experience
includes teaching in both small and large schools
as well as serving as an administrator.
Evelyn serves as Curriculum Coordinator for Potomac
Conference.

Loida Cortez Doukmetzian serves the Maryland and Virginia K-8 schools of the northern district of the Potomac Conference. Loida has taught bilingual education in public schools in California and Michigan. Her denominational experience includes serving as teacher and administrator in Canada, Michigan and Maryland. In addition to her special education responsibilities, Loida works at John Nevins Andrews as the ESL and learning assistance teacher, and testing coordinator.

Daveen Williams serves as Special Education Teacher for the Southern District for Potomac Conference and for Shenandoah Valley Academy Elementary School (SVAE). Daveen graduated from La Sierra University with a Masters in Special Education and multiple subject credentials. Daveen taught her first year at a SDA High School in Belize. Since 2003 SVAE has been blessed with her teaching talent.

Assistant to Evelyn Sullivan, Joannie Galbraith brings 17 years of valuable teaching experience to her position. Most often Joannie's voice will be the first you hear when you call the educational office. Some specialty areas covered by Joannie include contracts, ITBS and curriculum.

Patty
Marsh serves as
assistant to the Vice President for Education.
A second area of responsibility is assistant
for academic and financial support covering the
financial aspects of the office of education such
as payroll, billing, travel expenses, professional
workshops and continuing education. Patty
brings many years experience from the school setting-elementary
through university.

Cyndee
Grady offers
part-time support to the office of education as
assistant to Rob Smith. Cyndee brings a wealth of experience, having served as an assistant for summer camp ministries at Camp Blue Ridge. Areas of responsibility include
opening/closing reports, laptops for teachers program, library, and professional
growth.
