John Cress
|
John Cress is the new Vice President for Pastoral Ministries for the Potomac Conference. Having served the church for more than 30 years, he and his wife Karen (who is Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives) began their work at the conference September 1, 2011. John has been an associate pastor and the lead pastor of 3 churches and helped start 2 Hispanic Congregations and an urban church plant in Denver. Most recently he has been the lead pastor at LifeSource Adventist Fellowship in Denver, CO. It is John's desire "to use his passion and gifts in leadership to prayerfully implement the mission Jesus gave all Christians – 'to go, make disciples' and, while we're at it, 'love one another.'"

José Daniel Esposito Forciniti emerged from a family of Italian missionaries. He has more than 25 years experience working in pastoral ministry. He has served the Lord as an evangelist, ADRA director, Youth and Pathfinder director, Personal Ministries director, Sabbath school and Ministerial in South America. He has been serving the Lord in the Potomac Conference since 1997 as a district pastor, evangelist and currently as Pastoral Ministries Associate for Hispanics. He began his studies in Riverplate University where he received a Bachelor's degree in Theology. He has a Master's in Public Health from the Adventist University in Chile, through Loma Linda University. He has recently finalized his Doctorate degree in Divinities at Andrews University. He has held evangelistic campaigns in the majority of the countries in the three Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe. He is married to Carmen, who is a six grade teacher at J.N. Andrew School. They have three children: Paolo (Degree in Theology and Communications), Romina (Medical Student), and Melissa (Completing 10th grade in Shenandoah Valley Academy). His passions are winning people for Christ through home churches, planting new churches, training disciples for Jesus, and preparing the church for Christ soon return.

Bob Banks Associate/ South
|
Bob Banks, a native of New England, served as the senior pastor of the Patterson Avenue Church, in Richmond VA for 15 years. During his time Richmond, a church plant in the West End was established. Bob graduated from the University of Connecticut, where he received a BA in History. After graduation, he served as a Bible instructor in southern New England. He later received his MDiv from Andrews University Seminary. While serving in his first pastorate, north shore of Boston, he met his wife Joanie, from Memphis Tennessee. After pastoring a second district in central Massachusetts years, Bob moved with family, including his son Timothy and daughter Emily to Richmond VA. In 2000, he completed a doctorate from Andrews with emphasis on spiritual development. Bob enjoys hiking, biking and spending time with family and friends.

Sharon Cress grew up in a small Florida town surrounded by her extended family. The foundation of this unique environment instilled in her the value of community and supportive relationships.

Cand Seibert |
Candy Seibert joined the Potomac Conference team in February, 2011. She grew up in Takoma Park, MD and attended JNA and TA. Candy moved to West Virginia in the late 1970's where she attended Fairmont State University. Candy and her husband Jamie have two grown boys and they all live in the Harrisonburg, VA area. In her spare time, Candy and her husband enjoy riding with friends and family down the Blue Ridge Parkway on motorcycles. They also spend a lot of time boating and swimming at their cabin at Smith Mountain Lake. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
