Treasurers Seminar, September 18 (Radford), October 2 (Norfolk), November 13 (Washington), and January 22, 2012 (Hyattsville, MD).
On September 18, 2011, Potomac Conference will begin training seminars for local church treasurers within the conference. These seminars will provide a comprehensive look at what a treasurer's duties and responsibilities are. They will also introduce different ingredients that are needed to function adequately as a treasurer such as basic principles, internal controls, bank reconciliations, and much more. We will also be providing hands on training for the Jewel software.
Once the seminar is complete you will be able to understand your role as treasurer better and know the importance of your work. You will also leave knowing that you are not out there by yourself.
